There is currently no detailed reports on DNS traffic, including blocked/passed domains and detailed query information. This makes it hard to gain insight into the effectiveness of blocklists or client activity.
Describe the solution you like
The python extension in Unbound allows us to communicate with a backend so we can store detailed query information and form a report in the GUI. The overview would also allow us to quickly block/whitelist domains.
