Elasticsearch memory issues on memory constrained environment running Elasticsearch and Kibana sample

In a memory constrained environment (ie: using Minishift or Minikube), running the weblogic-elasticsearch-kibana example (please refer to kubernetes/samples/scripts/elasticsearch-and-kibana/elasticsearch_and_kibana.yaml) may be frustrating due to the memory defaults used by Elasticsearch (1Gb heap). The results is that Elasticsearch doesn't start up and keeps looping.
