Error when setting `oxf.xforms.sanitize` #3882

  • Set oxf.xforms.sanitize as in this example
  • Load a form, and you get the error:
XPath syntax error at char 13 on line 0 in {{\n            "\u2018":}:                                                
    Unexpected colon at start of token                                                                                

It seems that in XFormsStaticStateImpl.nonDefaultPropertiesOnly we're trying the process the value of the property as an XPath Value Template if it contains a {, which isn't correct in this case as the value is expected to be in JSON.

Probably an issue since #1143 in 2014! The idea was to support AVTs in attributes for some dynamic properties, NOT to support them on values present in properties-local.xml. And to support this: we use the namespaces in scope on the main model to evaluate those AVTs.
