Display smoking status in bars and restaurants

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

In certain parts of Germany, it is possible for bars, pubs or restaurants to allow indoor smoking.
When looking up a place in Organic Maps, I would find it convenient if I could find out if the place allows smoking or not.

This information can be stored in OpenStreetMap via the smoking= tag:

Describe the ideal solution

Alongside diet information ("Vegetarian", "Vegan"…), Organic Maps could show the smoking status on its own line.
The text could be:

• smoking=no: Smoking forbidden
• smoking=outside: Smoking allowed outside only
• smoking=yes: Indoor smoking allowed
• smoking=isolated: Indoor smoking in isolated area
• smoking=separated: Indoor smoking in designated area

The tag smoking=dedicated could be mapped to smoking=yes for simplicity. I don't find the distinction super relevant for users, but it could also be kept distinct (with text: "Only for smokers")

It would only be shown if the information is known.

Describe alternatives you have considered

• I use OpenStreetBrowser on the desktop. It lets me display the smoking status on the map directly, such as in this example. It would be ideal to be able to do something like this in Organic Maps, but I think it would already be super useful to be able to look up a place's status manually as proposed here.
  

• On Android, Osmand can be configured to search for restaurants or bars only of a certain smoking status: that could also be useful.

I am not sure people will understand the distinction between "separated" and "isolated" as such. Not sure if we can use better labels or if the distinction should be dropped somehow (to me, it is a useful distinction, but I don't know if it's representative).

Also I would put the smoking field at the bottom of the editor (unlike in the mockup), since it's an option that's rarely relevant (depending on the country).

It looks good, thanks. I think there is a law in many countries that prohibits smoking inside, right? Maybe we can make a list of such countries and hide this editor property in these countries?

Update: after making a PR for this (#7580) it emerged that there sadly isn't a consensus for displaying this information in the app.

It is sad that you closed the PR, I think there is still a lot of desire for this feature (also judging by the number of thumbs up). Families with children or non-smokers would really like to avoid places with indoor smoking, but in countries such as Germany or Serbia it's not easy at all. In my opinion it would be a killer feature.
The research you did on the OSM wiki is also quite impressive.

Since not every country in the world has forbidden smoking in the public places, this kind of information would be super valuable for those who prefer visiting non-smoking venues.

Imagine looking for a restaurant in country with varying smoking rules (like Serbia) while traveling with a baby, for example.

At the same time I agree with @biodranik's idea of hiding this info in the areas where smoking inside is legally forbidden, so OM wouldn't attract extra attention to this stuff.
