Problems with latest spektrafilm source release and latest ART tools

Hi Alberto!
Today I have installed a new version of Python, ie 3.13.13 (no venv!) on my Win 11 25H2 PC which has ART 1.26.4 installed.

I downloaded spektrafilm sources and I run its configuration to get all its requirements.
At the end of the process I tried to run its GUI (napari) and everything seems ok.
I could upload, show and manage any image.

Then I tried to see if it worked also with ART.
So I downloaded your latest version of your scripts to inteface ART with spektrafilm, ie ART_spektrafilm.json and spektrafilm_mklut.py.

I did not modify anything in them except for:
"command" : "python3 spektrafilm_mklut.py --server",
with
"command" : "python.exe spektrafilm_mklut.py --server",
at line 12 of ART_spektrafilm.json because I'wasn't sure that my python has this alias.

In these conditions I was able to load the menu showing all kind of film simulations as reported in the image below

However, when I tried to use whichever film simulation I have in the list, the script gives me an error/warning that I report in the image below.

So it seems something is wrong with your script(s) at least in combination with the spektrafilm version 0.3.1.

Sorry, I don't see a version 0.3.1 of spektrafilm. I just checked with the latest code from github (main branch) and it works for me. So I suspect this is a configuration issue on your side. I will therefore convert this to a forum discussion, not an issue with ART

Same problem also reinstalling ART, Python 3.13.x (in a shared environment, not in a venv) and the yesterday's released Andrea Volpato's spektrafilm 0.3.2 from scratch.
On the contrary, JanLohse's spectral_film_lut works fine.
Anyone else with this problem?

Hi, I just tried with 0.3.2 and it works for me. So I still suspect an issue on your side. You can get more info by running ART with a high verbosity (set Verbose=2 in the $HOME/.config/ART/options file), and then set the environment variable ART_DEBUG_EXTCLUT=1. You should then be able to read the full error messages from the terminal (but note that setting the above env var will make ART hang, so it's only for debugging purposes).
You can then try to post the error message here and we can try to figure out what is going wrong...

Today I have retried using ART 1.26.5, spektrafilm (as updated until yesterday) and your tools ART_spektrafilm.json and spektrafilm_mklut.py (version lreleased 4 days ago).
Now it works!
But, before being successfull, I had to restart ART twice after removing all the caches.
So what I suspect is that your cache maintained spektrafilm working previously, while - as I reinstalled ART from scratch - I noticed the problem.
