I signed up for the GitHub Copilot Pro plan, but both on the GitHub website and in my VS Code, I'm still showing as the free user and it keeps asking me to upgrade. I've checked everything. The account is correct, I've already paid for two months with my credit card, and I can't find a solution.

Based on the screenshots you shared, this looks like a billing-related issue rather than a problem with VS Code itself.

Your Copilot page shows your status as Free, and your payment history indicates the recent renewal attempts were Declined. Even though earlier payments were successful, they only covered past billing cycles. If the latest Copilot Pro charge fails, GitHub will downgrade the account to Free, and VS Code will simply mirror that account status.

Here are the steps to get this resolved:

1. Go to Settings > Billing and licensing > Payment information and update or replace your payment method.
2. Check with your bank or card issuer to ensure that international, online, or recurring GitHub payments aren't being blocked.
3. If your bank statement shows the charge actually went through but GitHub still shows Declined or Free, you'll need to open a ticket with GitHub Support. The community forum cannot manually activate paid licenses.
4. Once your account shows Copilot Pro is active again on the GitHub website, sign out and back into GitHub/Copilot within VS Code, then reload the window.

My previous suggestion was based on the Declined and Free statuses shown in the screenshots shared at the beginning of this discussion. If your payment was indeed successfully deducted but GitHub still shows Declined or Free, then this is clearly a bug with GitHub's billing system (the payment went through, but the system failed to update your account).

Because this is a public community discussion, absolutely no one here has the administrative access required to look into your billing data or manually activate Copilot for you. To get this fixed, you must contact official GitHub Support directly:

1. Please go to GitHub Support and open a ticket.
2. Attach your proof of successful payment (such as a bank statement or a screenshot of the digital receipt).
3. Explain to the support team that the funds were deducted, but your account status has not been updated.

I hope official support resolves this bug for you quickly!

主要钱都收走了，还提示free版本，还有设计上面感觉很不合理，付费订阅页面 不知道移动到明显的地方，隐藏在头像设置下面，找来找去都费事，页面排版设计好差劲
