Hi!

I’ve have published a Docker image to ghcr.io and I see it correctly linked to it’s repository, under “Packages”.

github.com

Build software better, together

GitHub is where people build software. More than 56 million people use GitHub to discover, fork, and contribute to over 100 million projects.

However, it tooks the repo’s main README ("/README.md") instead of the right one (“docker/README.md”). Do you know if is there a way to set a custom path for this README?

Thanks

There’s no way to do this right now but we plan to enable this in the future. We’ll likely look for the documentation metadata label when we support this.

Hello @clarkbw, is there any news on this subject?
Is there a public feature request or something similar that you could follow to be kept informed about updates on this topic?

Same problem here, it would be great to link to a different README using the org.opencontainers.image.documentation label.
