Hi Luca
I am looking for 'how-to' page to run orientdb in a distributed fashion. I find information is around githut in bits and pieces, but is there such a page exists? If not at least it will help me to plan my tasks.

and I am going through this page
I got latest 1.3.0 download. I see above link points to orientdb-cserver-config.xml ,but in download I find orientdb-dserver-config.xml and also examples are not matching (though to some extent we can assume)
but it is still not clear how can I run let say if I have 3 db servers in distributed fashion and if I add/delete a node, how data is re-distributed? and how replication work

you can try to take a look at the old wiki page

Thanks for reply Caludio. I looked at it. It is same content as the new one. No use.
I am cursing myself for picking orientdb. It is extremely frustrating.
In half-day, I was able to set up a replicaset AND a sharding setup with mongodb. With orientdb I can't even find what is start or end or at least a decent help page. I guess, it still need lot more time to mature.

Yes, you are right. It seems that the doc is out of sync. I found this announce by Luca the configuration file for the cluster has changed.

The page should be updated ASAP.

It seems to be out of sync and blocking for orient DB users who want to set up replica set.

It will be better to include some example configuration files on the page which can be used by orient DB users to quickly set up replica set.

you're right but we've so many things to update here. @laa @logart @enisher could help here?

Thanks for reply. Can you guys confirm this. It is very important for us
Can I create a replica set of 'n' number of nodes AND shards.
Can 'n' be changed dynamically?
