We would like to use the instance model creator class in a standalone mode (without the Eclipse workbench). However this does not work because the class is lookig for the maximum number of system operation mode from the Eclipse workbench preferences. We sugggest the following simple modification of class InstantiateModel at line 2170:

		final int limit;

		if ( Platform.isRunning() ) {
			limit = getSOMLimit( OsateResourceUtil.convertToIResource( root.eResource() ).getProject() );
		}
		else {
			limit = WorkspacePlugin.MAX_SOM_DEFAULT;
		}

		enumerateSystemOperationModes( root, instances, limit );

OSATE version: 2.3.4.vfinal -- Build id: 2018-07-11 on Windows
