Bryan Housel, the lead developer behind the in-browser OpenStreetMap editor iD recently completed work on an improved walkthrough for new users. You can test the new walkthrough before it shows up on osm.org at the pre-release site. The new walkthrough means a large set of new strings to translate, and he's asking for help translating the new content.
