I use osxfuse + ntfs-3g in order to acces an external usb drive. In particular circumstances, the system slow down until it hangs up with a kernel panic. It usually happens when there is an intense disk I/O activity.

Can you reproduce the kernel panic reliably? If this is the case, could you provide some more details to what triggers the panic (test case). I need to recreate the situation in order to debug the kernel extension.

Supposedly fixed (worked around to be more exact) in OSXFUSE 2.3.9
