DNS plugin for Infrataster with rspec-dns.

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'infrataster-plugin-dns'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install infrataster-plugin-dns

The usage is as same as Infrataster.

You can use have_entry matcher as an alternative of rspec-dns have_dns matcher. You can also use all chains for have_dns matcher.

require 'infrataster-plugin-dns'

describe server(:dns) do
  describe dns('') do
    it { have_entry.with_type('A').and_address('') }
  describe dns('') do
    it do have_entry.with_type('PTR')

You can get following result:

$ bundle exec rspec

server 'dns'
  dns ''
    should have the correct dns entries with {:type=>"A", :address=>""}
  dns ''
    should have the correct dns entries with {:type=>"PTR", :domainname=>""}
