gem snapshot

A small RubyGems plugin to dump a snapshot of your installed gems to a YAML file, and restore the YAML file to installed gems.

Installation

$ sudo gem install gem_snapshot

Usage

$ gem snapshot dump -f gems.yml

Then perhaps on another machine…

$ sudo gem snapshot restore -f gems.yml

If you don't provide a `-f` argument, the snapshot is dumped to stdout and read from stdin. When running the `restore` subcommand, you can also use any of the standard options for `gem install`.
