Tested with 0.6.7, OC 6.0.3, News App 2.002, MariaDB database, all on Linux-x86_64

Syncing read items with two different devices creates duplicate news items. Here's a screenshot to show this behavior :

screenshot_2014-06-16-07-48-00

Steps to reproduce :

  • Have two Android devices with 0.6.7 (called A and B)
  • Sync A and B with server with unread items.
  • Mark some items as read on A
  • Sync A with server
  • Sync B with server
  • The read items from A have been duplicated on B. Server has all of them marked as read.

Working workaround : Clean the cache on device B and sync once again.
