A few problems / room for improvement here:

  • It’s way too wide. Half the width would easily do as the default width.
  • (In the »General« tab, we should then with the new width put all the options below each other – not like currently the one checkbox and the »Add account« button floating in the middle)
  • The »Delete« button is way too far off to the right. This might be better when the width is fixed as well.
  • The account info takes too much vertical space and when you expand the selective sync items you need to always scroll. We need to cut the message to »Syncing with name of local folder« (without the technical /home/user in front)
  • Then we should also left-align the discovery loading bar (and the message) with the rest of the text, that is move it to the right.
  • The [-] minus/plus button to expand the selective sync is weirdly placed and you hardly notice it. Can we make the folder expand/close on single click of the row? Right now it does that on double click but that is not discoverable. See also #3585
  • The left-alignment of the »Storage usage« sentence and the folder list box is off.
  • The right-alignment of the folder list box and the »Close« button in the bottom right is different from the other items
  • We can just cut the »Storage usage« heading and the container around as the bar says everything already.

For me (on Windows) the button to expand the selective sync is a "right arrow thingy" and a single click expands the selective sync folders and the button becomes a "down arrow thingy".
(I guess there are technical terms for those icons)
Edit add: I change to the high-contrast theme in Windows10 and it makes it a minus/plus button. It still works with single click.

So for me on Windows ownCloud client 2.0.0.5361 that point seems OK already.
But yes, you do have to notice it exists the first time you encounter the UI there.
