Hi,

have you disabled all 3rdparty apps as noted in the upgrade instructions?

I have exactly the same issue, but on Debian. Upgrading 7.0.4->8.0, I also had to do some magic (force overwrite apache.conf) with the packages, but I'm stuck at the same error. I have one 3dparty package and forgot to disable it. How can I do it now manually (without the interface)?

Edit: OK, I have resolved it. In the MySQL database, table "oc_appconfig" I have manually edited
the entry for my offending plugin "files_mv" configkey "enabled" from "yes" to "no"

Ok I got :) You have to launch occ to list your apps and locate the 3rd party app, e.g.

sudo -u www-data php occ app:list

My 3rd party app was files_mv. Then you can disable it by:

sudo -u www-data php occ app:disable files_mv

Then after restart of web server and (it you have it enabled) disabling maintenance mode you should have it running :)

sudo -u www-data php occ maintenance:mode --off

(note: all those commands are ran from /var/www/owncloud/ so that occ is in the current dir - I do not know how to run those commands/modules/etc. in php from other dirs)

@eggithub
Have you done a full upgrade with deleting all files except /config/* and /data* ?

D'OH! I guess I forgot to do that, instead dealt with it as an "within main version" update. Is it safe to delete all other files and do a "cp -r owncloud" again? I feel so dumb :-)

Should APPS also be deleted?

@RealRancor

Thanx, for now I deleted all but config and data dirs, and re-copied the owncloud dir from the install file. This seems to work for now.

same for me. to solve it I disabled calendar and contacts with

sudo -u www-data /var/www/owncloud/occ app:disable calendar
sudo -u www-data /var/www/owncloud/occ app:disable contacts

Deleted the app folder and reactivate it like stated here #14023.
