Hi,

I would like to set the news app as the default application but when I add "defaultapp" => "news" in config file, the redirection fail.

redirect to:
/news/index.php
instead of:

/apps/news/

When I set the bookmarks app as default, it's works fine.

Thanks.

@VicDeo we moved it from the News issue tracker.

An easy patch would be to create a page at /news/index.php that redirects to the right route. Is this too dirty? :)

@Raydiation well, any app excluding pure JS viewers has index.php :)
Inability to configure default route for the app is not a bug, it's a lack of feature. Since most apps can live with that ;)

In that case I think we'll wait for a fix since its not a very important issue.

Fast workaround:
you can add the file '/var/www/owncloud/apps/news/index.php' with content:
