2024 retrospective and 2025 planning

Following on from last week’s maintainer meetup, we agreed that we would conduct an asynchronous retrospective on 2024.

Access details for the board are here.

Objectives

1. Review what worked and didn't work (from a maintainer and contributor perspective)
2. Identify key focus areas for 2025 (for the project as a whole)

Instructions / timeline

1. The retro board (Miro board) has instructions on how to participate
2. Retro board is open to feedback from today, closing Monday 17th Feb
3. I will affinity map and attempt to summarise feedback and ideas
4. In the 19th February maintainer meetup, we can discuss some of this feedback and ideas, and discuss next steps (likely more workshops and planning)
5. We will publish any findings/learnings to this repository

If you've been tagged, and got a notification and don't want to be part of the organisation any more let me know.

I appreciate some of you may not have contributed in a long time, and we are so grateful for the cumulative work to date, but it's totally okay to feel the need to move on, and it will help us understand who wants to be actively involved. and who best to target in discussions.

I'll be hoping to put on the roadmap, an org review of members, and proposing the usage of codeowners as well as updating the maintainer / contributor list on the docs.pact.io site.
