Render slim template with erb layout #1461

Is is possible to render a Slim template contained in an erb layout? Attemping to do so throws an error as its looking for the .slim version of the defined layout.

I think it works if you set layout_engine option to render.
render "index.slim", layout: :foo, layout_engine: :erb

BTW, I sent the pull request supporting something like this.

render "index.slim", layout: "foo.erb" # works!
