OS X 19.7.4, python 2.7.1, flask 0.9

as in this example https://gist.github.com/3257877 , in log file there is nothing for level INFO

Recently ran into this myself. There is a level on the logger and the handlers. Try adding:

app.logger.setLevel(logging.INFO)

or is this an objection to the logging.WARNING default?

app.logger.setLevel(logging.INFO)

Now INFO level is working, works so is this a bug or by design?

dmckeone commented Aug 8, 2012

Seems that it's the default of the logging package, so my guess would be by design

>>> import logging
>>>
>>> l = logging.getLogger('my-logger')
>>> l.addHandler(logging.StreamHandler())
>>>
>>> l.warning('test')
test
>>> l.info('test')
>>>
