Doing quizzes is a great way to learn facts, test your knowledge, and have fun. This is not an online game, quite the opposite, it's intended to be played with family members or friends over the table, face to face! That is how good trivias should be played. Data used for the trivia questions in this game is provided by the Open Trivia Database and is used under the creative commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for the folks at PIXELTAIL GAMES LLC. for creating and mantaining this database and we encourage all players to actively contribute with trivia questions.
This game is created using Angular 14, Nebular components and some nice fireworks. For state persistance we are using a free MongoDB database stored in Atlas, API used https://opentdb.com/
When I have time the plan is to create a global highscore, translation for questions using google translate API and perhaps include some AI tips with a wildcard for each user.
Run ng serve for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
