WimpiBLAST is a web platform that abstracts away various system components in a typical High Performance Computing Cluster (very close to a Supercomputer) and presents a unified and intutitive interface to the end user of the system.
It was created for the specific user community of beginners (in Bioinformatics) and Biologists who are intereted in expediting the annotation of the NGS data by using parallel computing resources.
