If there is a WWW-cache between the web-client and trac.parrot.org it
is not possible to login.

May be if the Web Front End would use the protocol "https" rather then "http" this would solve the login problem. Will " http://trac.parrot.org" be hosted from osuosl? Can osuosl switch it form "http" to "https". I only use trac also on another system and there I do not have problems with the WWW-Cache. The only difference I can see is that they run trac over "https".

Gerd, are you still having this problem? I have had issues in the past with an overaggressive cache on the parrot.org side, but haven't had any issues in some time.

If I want to log in from a computer at the University Siegen (Germany) then I still need an exception in the cache engine. Log in over an Internet Provider works.

We don't use trac anymore, so this ticket is meaningless. I'm closing it (we can open new tickets if github misbehaves).
