May be if the Web Front End would use the protocol "https" rather then "http" this would solve the login problem. Will "http://trac.parrot.org" be hosted from osuosl? Can osuosl switch it form "http" to "https". I only use trac also on another system and there I do not have problems with the WWW-Cache. The only difference I can see is that they run trac over "https".
Gerd, are you still having this problem? I have had issues in the past with an overaggressive cache on the parrot.org side, but haven't had any issues in some time.
If I want to log in from a computer at the University Siegen (Germany) then I still need an exception in the cache engine. Log in over an Internet Provider works.
If there is a WWW-cache between the web-client and trac.parrot.org it
is not possible to login.
