Acceptance will include:

  • an API to persistently select a LED theme so that different pre-made themes can be supplied for the LED.
  • the ability to store 1 user theme in persistent storage for the LED codes

The LED codes considered here are those set by the system. Custom states required by products are not covered here - they will be made available via the LED management API.

Issues #976 and #569 provide for the changes needed for LED management as prerequisites.

Completeness:

  • Minimum test case added
  • Device, system and user firmware versions stated
  • Particle confirmed

The user supplied LED scheme can be persisted so that it's available during safe mode. And the LED theme selected is also persisted (again so it's available in safe mode.)
