jsInternetClock

jsInternetClock is a jQuery plugin which enables easy creation and customisation of a working graphical analogue clock, configured either by a text datestring or initialised by the current datetime according the the user's operating system datetime settings.

Usage:

See Internet Clock example page

There is a single function 'internetClock' which modifies a collection of elements passed to it. It takes an optional configuration object as its only argument:

$('p').internetClock();

or

$('p').internetClock( { showDate : true, clockFaceColor : '#22fa63' } );

Include jQuery and either src/jsInternetClock or dist/jsInternetClock-min.js on your web page:

<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="jsInternetClock-min.js"></script>

Build/Minification:

Tools are included to create the minified version of the script. On *nix run the build.sh bash script in the root directory, which invokes the supplied YUI-Compressor and puts a copy of the minified script in both the dist and web directories. To run it use:

./build.sh

If you have any problems you may need to use:

sudo ./build.sh

Demo:

There is a complete working demo in the web directory. Just open the index.html file in a web browser.
