RDFEasy BaseKB Gold Compact consists of
- Ubuntu Linux 13.10
- OpenLink Virtuoso Open Source Edition
- A collection of shell scripts for automation
- A database (:BaseKB) containing information from Freebase
- facts from :SubjectiveEye that assign subjective importance to topics in :BaseKB
RDFEasy is the name of the packaging technology.
:BaseKB is a cleaned and purified extract of Freebase.
:BaseKB Gold is :BaseKB captured at a specific moment in time.
The Compact edition is a subset of facts from Freebase that maximizes performance
How to get it
This product is on the AWS Marketplace and, if you have an AWS account, it can be provisioned with a single click. Inclusive of hardware and software, this product costs 0.45 cents an hour for the minimum configuration.
Once the system is initialized (this may take 10-20 minutes after boot) you can run SPARQL queries against the data with the included OpenLink Virtuoso 7 Open Source Edition database. See here for more details.
