I still don't know the answer. So I went to the wiki.

Oh, you should have said that in "Details" section in your report. To me it looked like the problem is that wiki is blank, not that you cannot do it.

First of all - the CLI in SQLiteStudio is still experimental, unstable.
Secondly - exporting functionality is not available (yet) in the CLI, soooo... that is that. Sorry.

Why don't you use standard SQLiteStudio with UI?

There are about 10,000 DB files that need to be processed.

I handle this in steps:

  1. rename all the db files, and put them in different dir. for example, 1/abc.db 2/abc.db
2.create a temp dir and move a file in, then open it in SqliteStudio UI.
    3.execute shell: ./sqlitestudiocli < sql.txt > result.txt . sql.txt is the sql input, result.txt is the output
4.move another db file, and loop step 3.

done.

Okay, what exactly is the problem then?

It would be more efficient to export directly in the CLI. Many people will need this feature. This way they don't have to spend the whole day trying to do it like me.

Although there are some minor problems, sqlitestudio is still the best sqlite3 client. Adding these small features will make it perfect.

Ohhh, so it basically a new feature proposal - to have export command in the CLI. Correct?
