Revert formatting (bold, italic...) when forcing it on an already formated text #756

Expected behaviour

  1. Select **bold** or the inside bold word;
  2. Press bold formatting button or key shortcut;
  3. **bold** becomes bold.

Actual behaviour

  1. Select **bold** or the inside bold word;
  2. Press bold formatting button or key shortcut;
  3. **bold** becomes ****bold****.

Phew, this took far to long to implement...

17.12.2

  • bold, italic or strikeout formatting can now be undone if the selected
    text is surrounded by the corresponding formatter characters
