Expected behaviour

Press shortcut, e.g. esc to set focus to the editing panel.

Very necessary for a keyboard-only workflow. Especially after searching for a note, it would be great to set focus to the editing panel by pressing esc. I suggest as default shortcut esc (if that was not clear yet ;)).

Esc does a lot of things, I cannot make that an app-global shortcut...
To get from the note search to the note list you only need to press Tab. And it's Tab again for getting to the note text-edit from the note list.

18.04.4

  • you can now use the shortcut F4 to jump to the Note edit panel
    • if the Note edit panel was disabled it will be enabled first

There now is a new release, could you please test it and report if it works for you?
