No Way To View A HD Video At Its Actual Size??? #64
Comments
Auto-sizing the video to its actual size is not implemented at the moment. |
Thanks Felix. So it is as I suspected. Do you have any idea when this might be implemented? While I would like to make Lunettes my default movie player, until some of these key features are implemented, I am going to have to continue to rely upon the regular VLC. |
Well, this is a feature I don't particularly use so it's not high priority for me :/ |
I'll try to implement it though. |
Thanks PIerre. For those of us who have large, high-resolution Macs -- like my 27" Quad Core i7 iMac with its default resolution of 2560x1440 -- this feature is really a necessity, and not just a luxury, as otherwise, SD video is displayed too small. While one can lower the screen resolution in order to enlarge the video image, it does result in some degradation of the image, so implementing auto-resizing in Lunettes is really the better route to take, in my view. :) |
Unless I am missing something, there appears to be no way to view a HD video at its actual size, as the regular VLC does. There are options to zoom, or to view it fullscreen, but how do I view a HD 1280x720 video at precisely 1280x720? Upon opening such a video, it appears about at the size of a typical TV episode, or about 640x480, or a little smaller. Upon opening a video, it should automatically open to its default size, whether that is 640x480, 1280x720, 1920x1200, or at whatever resolution it was encoded.
