I am using the latest dev version of the plugin but i don't get any quickfix suggestions in my PHP classes.
Neither for missing use statements or unimplemented methods.
As shown here: http://p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org/phpfeatures.html it should work out of the box.
could you provide a minimal reproducable testcase?
How do i do that?
you could provide a zip/tar file of your complete project if that's possible for you.
if it's not possible for you i can add more verbose debugging output to the validator and you could provide me that output.
I can't provide that particular project, but i just started a new Symfony project and it's the same problem.
I changed to a clean workspace and created a new Composer project and it's the same.
Maybe i can provide you my workspace configuration and the plugin installation details. If that's any help.
ok, please paste the content of the following files (in the root of your newly created symfony project):
i can reproduce it now, i'll get back to you when i found out the reason.
@alsar problem fixed. thanks for reporting. a new build is running and should be available shortly.
What was the problem?
I just now discovered if i only use the Core plugin (without any other plugins from the http://p2-dev.pdt-extensions.org update site) the quickfix suggestions work.
I was trying to skip sourcefiles which are not included in the buildpath to improve performance, but that check was too restrictive: ad70921#L0R77
The sourcefile needed to be on the exact entry in the buildpath, deeper entries were not validated...
