ReadyMap SDK is a 2D/3D mapping toolkit for WebGL/Javascript - by your friends at Pelican Mapping.

About ReadyMap

ReadyMap SDK is free, open source 3D mapping toolkit for WebGL/Javascript. Inspired by our osgEarth toolkit, ReadyMap SDK offers an application-level API for rendering and interacting with 3D maps. Godzi leverages other free open source projects including:

  • osgjs - a 3D scene graph library for WebGL inspired by OpenSceneGraph.
  • osgEarth/JS - A JavaScript variation of osgEarth, our C++ terrain rendering library.
  • jQuery - a fast and concise JavaScript Library that simplifies HTML document traversing, event handling, animating, and Ajax interactions for rapid web development

Examples

Enough talk - let's see some examples! By the way, ReadyMap SDK uses WebGL for rendering 3D maps. WebGL is a relatively new technology, and requires a WebGL-compliant browser like Firefox 4+ or Chrome 10+. (IE does not yet support WebGL, but we are working on that.)
