Allow sending of campaigns with custom HTML body from API

Hello! Are there any plans to allow HTML campaigns? I love the simplicity of Markdown, but it is too restrictive for our use-case.

Particularly, we want to use external automations to send HTML campaigns with the API - we would not need a web editor for our use-case.

thanks for reaching out! I think this is a very good suggestion indeed.

Adding the ability to send HTML emails via the API would be quite straightforward to implement.

This is what needs to happen:

• Add html type to the Campaign settings and Campaign API
• Add logic to send out custom HTML from html_body in html type campaigns
• Optional: Add logic to extract plain text if plain text is not set - and add a setting for plain text extraction.

Good news! You can create emails with custom HTML, both via the campaign editor and the API, starting with v0.30.0!
