The screenshot shows that do not have murrine engine:

But it is installed...look:

Now, applications that require the engine, are displayed incorrectly

hello. this is a known issue. we found how to solve it... the bugfix will be release soon. thanks :)

Running MATE 1.1.1 on Linux Mint 12 and got rid of that murrine error message however GTK applications still look crappy (looks like a Windows/Redmond theme).
