Ferenc Erki

Hi, I'm FErki! In the Open Source world, you might know me as the maintainer of Rex, the friendly automation framework - which is written in Perl and available on CPAN! I'm also helping to package various software for Gentoo both in the main portage repository and in my own overlay.

As a freelancer, I have available capacity again to serve new customers. I'd be happy to work with you on your Rex, Perl, DevOps and SRE projects. Looking forward to chat with you in email, on Twitter, or on LinkedIn!

Hope to talk to you soon, and enjoy the conference!

Howdy all! After twelve years of freelance consulting (and three months of taking a little break), I'm ready for something new.

I am open to software engineering, technical writing, or project leadership roles, full- or part-time. You can see my two-page resume, or have a look at my technology portfolio for a list of significant projects I've helped with and roles I've served in. (Yes, it includes a number of Perl-based projects!)

At this point in my career, I am particularly interested in leadership roles, whether managerial or executive. I wish to further exercise the skills I have gained through my years of experience running both nonprofit and startup companies, and leading various open-source software projects. Please feel free to email me any time. Thank you!

Mike Fragassi

Hi everyone! If we haven't met at past conferences, I've been a Perl programmer for 25 years, and I'm looking for new challenges, beginning in September. For almost 20 years I've been working on custom release deployment applications for retail store environments -- DevOps, before that term even existed. And the majority of that work has been using Perl. I've done many other things, mostly on the back-end side of Linux systems. I can be reached on Twitter, email and my work-in-progress LinkedIn. Thanks!

Hello.

I am looking for a job with Perl as the main/primary language. I have been using Perl for more than 10 years, mostly on personal and friends' websites.
Open to any position (even junior level), anywhere in the USA. Prefer online, but open to moving, if necessary. Currently based in Red Oak, TX. I am familiar with perl (of course), strawberry perl on windows, IIS on windows, docker docker, shell scripting, centos 7/centos 8, MySQL, Postgresql, Mojolicious, CGI, Raspberry PI, Apache, Nginx, etc. I also do hosting for my own domains (and a few friends/customers) using Virtualmin (Both on Linode/GoogleCloudPlatform and on premises). email
