told. Log Recorder
You have certain installations of your software out there in the wild wold? Sometimes they gone crazy and you wonder why? Haven't you access to the log files? Well, than told is what you need.
told records log messages from your systems. Send your message via http over tcp/ip or via udp packages to the told log recorder and get a niche and powerful searchable view to all the reported logs.
There are some libs around that you can include in your application to log into told log recorder.
Communication via HTTP
log via GET or POST to http://127.0.0.1:3000/log
Communication via UDP (User Datagram Protocol) / IP
echo "hallo welt" | socat - udp4-datagram:127.0.0.1:41234
echo "tags=a,b type=ddd message=hallo welt" | socat - udp4-datagram:127.0.0.1:41234
Copy the source to the destination directory and run:
npm install npm start
Than login with admin/admin, create a user and stop the application again. You HAVE TO remove the superadmin section in config.js!
Than you can start the application again.
