MySQL Fulltext does match search queries properly

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have two tracks by an artist "Secret State"
2. Searching for "Secret Sta" yields the two tracks.
3. Searching for "Secret Stat" or "Secret State" yields no tracks.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see both tracks in the search results, I see none.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
