For now, the 'xxhdpi' qualifier is only used explicitly for launcher icons on large, high density displays. Creating all your assets as xxhdpi is not recommended.

I'd also consider adding a note that creating 'ldpi' assets is not really need anymore. The devices are rare and the platform will just scale down 'mdpi'...

Thank you, Jake. Could you please explain, why creating all assets as xxhdpi is not recommended? John has a good idea to add the explanation as a text paragraph.

There are no xxhdpi devices. The launcher icon is special cased. I'll update the pull tonight.

There are xxhdpi devices (sony xperia Z, samsung s4, htc one and so on ....). There are screens one just with xhdpi and other with xxhdpi icon and as you can see it is different (screens from sony xperia Z, I can also provide screen from samsung s4 prototype if you want). Also if you create for example values-xxhdpi it takes values from this folder also layout-xxhdpi and so on....

I added note about creating 'ldpi' assets, as you suggested. Thanks.
