I can not to connect to database with "?" in name. Or use username or password with containing "&" within JDBC url
May be need to add support URL-encoded database name and connection parameters.

Why would you ever have a database with special characters like that?

I don't have such databases. But I write application which will dynamically create connection to user's databases. And they may have such databases. Anyway I can create database with name "a+b?c" with pgAdmin and I think it is must be opened with JDBC too.

Special characters like %, &, etc should be encoded when passing via JDBC URL.
