Non‐synchronising keyservers

There are several public keyservers available that do not support the SKS protocol (or the earlier PKS protocol) and therefore do not synchronise with each other.

HKP keyservers

The following keyservers support HKP, so are compatible with most clients:

• https://keys.openpgp.org (also supports its own API)
• https://keys.mailvelope.com (also supports its own API)
• https://api.protonmail.ch
• https://github.com/u1f35c/onak

Non-HKP servers

The following servers only expose a non-standard API:

• https://keybase.io (https://keybase.io/docs/api/1.0/intro)
