What used to work as a tagged release was removed and we now have a pull request in josegonzalez/homebrew-php#368 to track master as a release. Thats gonna leave us having a bad time.

Please create tagged releases, or upload tars of your releases to github, so that we don't use a nasty hack :)

this issue belongs to here?

Yes.

Homebrew is a package manager for OSX and they pull from Phalcon. Without the tags they cannot target a particular version.

Jose I have created tags for all major (stable) releases as well as the 0.7.0 Alpha 1.

Let us know if you need anything else

PS: Calling someone a tard doesn't win brownie points :)

Wasn't look for brownie points, was looking for lulz pony points ;)

Thanks for the releases. Was there a reason why they were deleted in the first place?

Frankly speaking I didn't even know that anyone was using them and never
heard any of the users needing them.

Up until you opened the issue I didn't even know that phalcon is on
homebrew.

Thanks for that - I will update the download page with the necessary
instructions .

I would keep tagged releases around in all projects, just as a general rule. Helps in figuring out when something broke from a dependency standpoint.

Closing, since this is complete :)

Thanks Jose. We will do so for all new releases.
