This seems to be an issue within Atom that others are experiencing too. I'll be watching that forum topic to see if receives any updates.

Yeah, I'm not sure why that's not built in and why we can't find good docs on it.

It makes me wonder if it's a side effect of the locking down of actions when opening Atom in normal mode vs. dev mode.
