Impacts User Experience
As a user with both RAW and JPEG files, I want PhotoPrism to index only the JPEG file and ignore the RAW file, since the RAW files don't contain any additional metadata and I prefer to keep the index small instead.
Just like when using a
.ppignore
file, RAW files that have already been indexed will not be removed from the index (even if thePHOTOPRISM_DISABLE_RAW
flag has been set to "true" in the config). However, indexing and conversion of new RAW files will no longer be possible.Related Issues:
