As a user who views panoramas and other images with extreme aspect ratios, I would like the photo/video viewer to display a thumbnail that is more closely matched to my screen so that it is displayed at the appropriate size and resolution.
For this purpose, a new thumbnail matching function is implemented, which selects the best matching image based on its actual dimensions instead of the theoretical maximum size of the thumbnail.
