i guess we are Apache + whatever JCR uses

we are apache yes, its in the head of each .php file.
but we indeed should put a LICENSE file into the root folder.

hm, i wonder if we should have the tutorial and the slides in this repo? its not strictly part of the standard and is updated frequently. we could move it over to phpcr-utils, or have a phpcr-doc repo so that people do not deploy the things with their projects.

yeah ... i think in the long run we will have separate release cycles for those, so it would be good to keep them separate
