allow to specify persistent and timeout params for connection creation methods.
e.g.
$ra = new RedisArray(array("host1", "host2:63792, "host2:6380"), array(
"function" => "extract_key_part",
"persistent" => true,
"timeout" => 2.5));

Hey there,

We have a branch called ra-performance which allows for persistent connections in RedisArray. @nicolasff and I are going to work to get a lot of these branches merged into master.

Off the top of my head I don't think you can specify a timeout, however. I'll look into that for you

Cheers,
Mike

@MiketoString

I just implemented a "connect_timeout" option in this pull request:
#347

Hope it helps.

It's not merged into master yet. If you could use this branch and let me know how it works for you, it would be most appreciated. It's always better to have someone else testing it too. :)

Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike,

thank you for quick response. so for branch ra-erformance it is by default
persistent connection or we shout add option persistent set true to enable
it?

It's not by default. You'll need to add the 'persistent'=>true option when creating your RedisArray.
