Why patsy

Yes, why?

Why not just use Grunt?

Well, Grunt does it job (err, tasks?) very well, and patsy is not intended or created to replace Grunt. Heck, we rely heavily on Grunt and would not lightly step away from this dependency.

We felt the need for some more features in a bundled application that Grunt could never give us without over-complicated created plugins ... ( to be written )

What about Yeoman?

Point out that Yeoman does its things very good, but is a more guided towards pure frontend-development and has scaffolding features.

Why not build system X?

We will never promote patsy as THE build system to use, but we offer patsy freely to those developers that needs the same features as we do.
