Release Notes

  • Fixed: Show error message (TypeError: Invalid Version: static) when launched.
  • Updated: Make sure user select the board type before selecting the OS to prevent flashing OS for the wrong board type.

Known Issues

  • Show "ENOENT: no such file or directory, write at Error (native)" or "ENXIO: no such device or address, read at Error (native)" during flashing or validating. Need to try on other MicroSD adapters because some MicroSD USB adapters may unmount/eject by itself during flashing or validating.
  • Other minor issues.

Release Notes

  • Added: Settings -> Download Sources to allow user to choose from which server all the OS images will be downloaded from.
  • Fixed: Show error message when unplug/eject USB drive or SD Card. Need to restart the App again else it may result in MicroSD Card detection failure.
  • Fixed: When download initializing at 0%, if the user immediately closed the App, the MTD file in the downloadedImage folder will be corrupted with file size 0. The image cannot be downloaded anymore. The user need to manually delete the MTD file to fix the issue.
  • Fixed: [MAC] Launch Services problem because of wrong bundle identifier. Thanks for the feedback from tkaiser.

  • Partially Fixed: [MAC] Show "PINE64 installer wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this" because downloadedImage directory permission (dr----x--x) problem. Manually change the downloadedImage directory permission to 755 (drwxr-xr-x) can fix the issue.
    • If updated from 2.0.0-beta.1, then need to manually change the downloadedImage directory permission to 755 (drwxr-xr-x) to fix the issue.

Notes

  • 2.0.0-beta.2 prefix all downloaded file with Download Source's server domain name (e.g. files.pine64.org_*, cdn.pine64.uk_*), old 2.0.0-beta.1 downloaded files need to be manually removed.
