im using

    <script type="text/javascript">
        $('.infinite-scroll').jscroll({
            debug: true,
            loadingHtml: '<img src="loading.gif" alt="Loading" /> Loading...',
            padding: 20,
            contentSelector: '.content',
            nextSelector: 'a.jscroll-next:last'
        });
    </script>

but in the log says:

nextHref "page2.html .content .content"
instead of "page2.html .content"

if I remove the contentSelector will work ok but with the unwanted html

I think I'm having a similar issue.

It either doesn't work, or it works and loads the entire page (i.e. the entire body contents).

In the latest version 2.1.1, the contentSelector is placed after the nextSelector. In my opinion is this wrong, why would i load data from my next page selector? I would be better if it checked inside the jsroll element for the content selector.

Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

I had the same issue. I created a fork to this repository at https://github.com/Andres-Botero/jscroll
The update fixes:

  • Fixed bug with contentSelector option.
  • Evaluates status when loading content. If status equals error it removes nextSelector as well scroll-loading content.

Hi there!. Yes, I fixed those two issues because I needed it. It works for me, but feel free to test. I'm down to merge the forks, I just don't know how lol.

I'm having the same issue. And Andres his solution fixed the problem.
If it's not working instantly or loading only 1 time, try placing the pagination inside the contentSelector object and setting the pagingSelector so the paging is hidden.

To commit your changes for review you'll need to submit a pull requests to this repo. And hope it get's accepted

Hey guys, contentSelector is a reference to a selector on the next page that you will be loading. It is placed after the href of the next selector, and is called using jQuery's .load() method which allows the loading of page fragments. Please see http://api.jquery.com/load/ for documentation on this feature.
