Still need to restrict certain other level behavior with some buildings.

Ability to build certain ships or other buildings
Pantheon plot count
Oracle & Temple range
Genetics Lab ability to add
Berth Level
Speed of Shipyards
Shields Against Weapons
Oversight (done)
The Dillon Forge (done)
Security homefield advantage (done)
Archaeology, number of excavators & percents (done)
Gas & Terra Platforms plot addition (done, still add, but produce waste at their level, not uni level)


Have you considered putting something like "effective_level" into Buildings.pm which does this uni-vs-real level calculation and using that everywhere it's applicable instead? Then things like SupplyPod could override that to just return its own level?


I haven't, but that doesn't mean it isn't a good idea. ;)
